The Possible Release Date

Let’s take a look at the history of the development of the QuietComfort series products (if you know it or you just don’t have free time, look right at the end of the article, there will be basic information).

  • QuietComfort 15 – available from 2009 to 2015.
  • QuietComfort 25 – available from 2014 to 2019.
  • QuietComfort 35 series I – replaced QuietComfort 25 in 2016 and sold through 2018. These headphones supported Bluetooth wireless operation, worked with the Bose Connect mobile app (which gave more control over the sound), and had a built-in rechargeable battery. Customers praised the sound quality and noise cancellation of the new headphones, as well as the long battery life, but noted distortion in the bass at high volume levels.
  • QuietComfort 35 II – released in 2017. The main feature of the new version is a customizable “action” button on the left earpiece. The QC 35 II was the first headphone to feature Google Assistant, a service that appears to be activated by default.
  • Also, in the new model all the issues of the previous version were solved. The sound quality, noise cancelation, and ease of use have been appreciated by all users of the QC 35 II.
  • QuietComfort 35 II Gaming – Especially for gamers in 2020, Bose introduced the QC 35 II version with a detachable gaming microphone.
  • QuietComfort 45 – released in 2021. They have USB-C support, an additional (fourth) microphone to improve communication quality, and Bluetooth 5.1 to improve wireless performance. But the battery is not replaceable.

2021 Comparison - Bose QC35ii vs Bose QC45 | QuietComfort 35ii vs QuietComfort 45

As you can see, new models of QuietComfort headphones appeared approximately every five years. But in recent years they have become more frequent. By that logic, the QuietComfort 35 III should have arrived as early as 2021 or 2022. But this did not happen, because instead of the third generation QC 35, the company released a new model – QuietComfort 45. Therefore, the next product in this line is likely to be the QuietComfort 45 II or QuietComfort 55 headphones, which may appear in 2024. We must say that this information is based only on some key dates of release dates. As of now, there is no official information. We are monitoring the situation and will update this article as new information becomes available.

Important Notice: The estimated release date is based on the release schedules of previous models and should not be considered official. I want to remind you that the actual release date may vary due to a variety of factors, including production delays, changes in company policy, or external economic conditions. I strive to keep the information as current as possible, but for the most accurate and reliable updates, I recommend checking the official Bose website.
