The latest Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones came out in 2021. They were QuietComfort 45. Since then, a period has passed, by modern standards, sufficient for the emergence of a new product. Therefore, many users are waiting for the release of a new headphone model and wondering what it will be – QuietComfort 45 II or QuietComfort 55?
And I want to say that at the moment there is not much news and speculations about new headphones, but still, I have something to tell you, so keep reading.

The Release Date of Bose QuietComfort 55
Now let’s talk about whether we’ll see the new QuietComfort 55 headphones anytime soon.
I have carefully studied all the information on the network but did not find any official statements from Bose about a possible release date for the new headphones. I didn’t find any leaks either. However, I can predict the date of the release of QC 55, based on the data on the release of previous versions.

- QuietComfort 45 – 2021
Four years have passed between the product upgrade dates, and therefore we can assume that the QuietComfort 55 will come out in 2024 or 2025. But this is nothing more than a reasonable forecast since there was no official data on this subject.

The Price of Bose QuietComfort 55
There is no pricing news – official or otherwise – for the upcoming QuietComfort 55 series yet. Let’s take a look at last year’s models to determine the possible price level of the new headphones.
- QuietComfort 35 II – $299 (2017)
- QuietComfort 45 – $329 (2021)
The price is growing noticeably since there is a fairly large period of time between the release of models. Therefore, I believe that the QuietComfort 55 will cost $399 USD. Moreover, this price may be even higher if new technologies are used in new headphones.
Is There an Alternative?

Final Thoughts
We do not know exactly what name the new headphones will receive, it could be Bose QuietComfort 55 or QuietComfort 45 II. And we certainly do not expect them to come out this year, the estimated release date is 2024 or 2025.
